1. By sharing through Luviat, local members can make good use of their underutilised gear, extend the service life of their possessions, and reduce what goes to landfill.
2. By connections made through Luviat, visitors can access locals who are prepared and willing to help visitors reduce their waste, this could be by reducing unnecessary purchases, or by taking or consuming items travellers no longer need and would otherwise go to landfill
3. Every item a traveller accesses from a local instead of bringing it with them reduces transport fuel which in turn reduces CO2 emissions.
